Description

Join us for an evening with Yechiel Marcus as he addresses the needs and programs for severely disadvantaged children and their families in Israel.

A key member of the development staff and the Planned Giving Advisor for the Jaffa Institute, Yechiel grew up in Sharon, Massachusetts, earning his B.A. at the University of Pennsylvania and then his MSW. Yechiel and his wife and young family made aliyah in 1987. He has brought his love and skills to the Jaffa Institute for the last fifteen years. The Jaffa Institute provides educational, recreational and social enrichment programs which enhance the self esteem and academic performance of over 4,000 Israelis particularly in Jaffa, South Tel Aviv, and Bat Yam.   RSVP at https://www.ceebj.org/event/ychil-marcus---the-jaffa-institute.html

Jaffa Institute programs enable children to succeed academically and break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. The Jaffa Institute is one of Israel’s outstanding voluntary organizations.
